Good News To All Twilighters! They announced Stephenie Meyer day in Forks, WA for Sept. 12-13. The 13th being Ballas birthday. Its going to be an amazing weekend I'l tell you that!
Here’s early notice–Stephenie Meyer Day 2009 is happening September 12-13, 2009, in Forks, WA!! While this year’s event is still in the organizational stages, based on the overwhelming response last year, we want everyone (including folks in, um, Arizona . . . ) to have a chance to make plans to be here on Bella’s Birthday to celebrate with us. Now is the time to make lodging reservations in Forks or LaPush for this weekend–the entire area was booked solid last year. Many fans arrived before the weekend and/or stayed a day or two afterward, to have more time to fully enjoy everything the area has to offer.

MTV talks with Kristen about New Moon. She says that she is very confident in the new director, Chris Weitz, and Taylor Lautner.

"Chris is — on top of him being a really sweet guy — he is entirely devoted," she explained. "And he's very clearly not doing the movie just because it's the next big thing. He really likes it a lot."
"Yeah, absolutely," Stewart said. "I'm so glad they didn't have to find somebody else; we already had him! I didn't understand all the deliberation on [whether to bring him back]. But now that it's set, we can all rest.

Before all the New Moon Dakota Fanning rumors, MTV wanted to know if she was a Twilighter like all the other girls on the planet her age are.

"I haven't read them, but I have a lot of friends that read them all the time," she told MTV News in September while promoting "The Secret Life of Bees." "They're so excited about the movie. When I went to Comic-Con, 'Twilight' was there. I have to read these books now, 'cause everybody's reading them, and I'm sure they're fantastic."
