E! Online talks about how 90210-er AnnaLynne may be in New Moon as Heidi.

Another 90210-er may be making a stop in the Twilight zone.
I'm hearing that filmmakers have been considering the idea of casting 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord as Heidi in the upcoming New Moon, the much-anticipated sequel to Twilight.
Heidi isn't a major character in the book, but McCord definitely has the gorgeous looks to pull it off.
The character is a "fisher" who brings humans to the Volturi vampires to eat. She's also known as "bait" because of the way she uses her stunning looks to attract humans. In her brief appearance in the book, Bella describes Heidi as having "exceptional, unforgettable" beauty. She has stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes.

EW reports that it is unlikely for Lionsgate to buy Summit.
However, with the economic conditions being as they are, everyone in Hollywood is talking about ways to enhance their business strategically while simultaneously reducing overhead, so it's certainly not out of the question that we'll see some kind of changes taking place at various studios in coming months. Duringan interview with Dakota Fanning on Caroline, the possibility of her in New Moon came up.
MoviesOnline: Speaking of roles, can you talk about Twilight? Have you sealed the deal for New Moon?
Dakota: It's not a hundred percent yet, set in stone but it's not totally untrue or a rumor or anything. It's definitely a possibility and it would be really, really fun to be a part of. I'm a big fan of the cast and to join would be a really great honor and I really hope that it works out and hope I can give you guys a definite answer soon. [laughs]
MoviesOnline: What are you looking forward to most?
Dakota: I think just playing an evil vampire. That's really cool so if I got to do it that would be probably the most fun part

Little, Brown and Company will release Catherine Hardwicke's book Twilight: Director's Notebook on March 17, just in time for the March 21 release of Twilight on DVD, EW has learned exclusively. The book will include inside secrets on casting, location scouting, and wardrobe -- plus behind-the-scenes photos, personal notes about Hardwicke's favorite scenes, and more. "With this book, I tried to show fans and aspiring filmmakers some of the process that the crew and I went through filming Twilight," said Hardwicke, who started as a production designer for films like Tank Girl, Three Kings, and Vanilla Sky before making her directorial debut with 2003's Thirteen. "My challenge was to translate Stephenie [Meyer]'s powerful book and make you feel what she makes you feel when you read her words."

According to Stephen, "Both Rowling and Meyer, they're speaking directly to young people... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."
