MTV has an Article about if Twilight Will Ever Hit The Comic Books.

At a recent "TwilightLive" event, MTV's resident "Twilight" authority Larry Carroll was asked by a fan if there would be graphic novels based on the vampire love story anytime soon.
Given the fact that we've seen comics and graphic novels based on everything from Barack Obama to "The Ghost Whisperer," it's not only a valid question, but one that seems like the next obvious step in "Twilight" mania. After all, a marriage of Stephenie Meyer's wildly popular series and comic books — arguably one of the hottest storytelling mediums going today — seems like a match made in vampire heaven, right? Harry Potter star Robert said of his hysterical fans: "It's absolutely mad. I'm in a daze. They're here for the character, not for me. I don't know what to do. I'm terrified of doing the sequel."
Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella, claims some feminist groups disapproved of her character falling for a dominant vampire. She said: "It's a love story about two people who would die for each other. Bella has very innately female qualities, she really trusts herself. It takes a really strong person to subject themselves to that.

Whats The Next Twilight?

"There's nothing like the power of the box office," Summit Entertainment distribution president Richie Fay said last weekend. "…There's a segment out there that probably hasn't been given their fair due, and now certainly you're going to find creative folks out there [looking at more female-driven properties]."
Summit's looking at a few of those itself. They're called the prospective sequels to Twilight.
